Gear Highlight: Omni Sonar

We could not be more excited to highlight an exciting new piece of gear we are about to deploy on Super Fly - Omni Sonar! This technology will be such a game changer that it's hard to contain our excitement. Essentially, this takes the sonar technology we already know and utilize and makes it even more effective. Essentially, as the name "Omni" implies, this sonar unity is shooting out a signal 360 degrees around the boat. This provides a distinct advantage over other systems by providing a more extensive and precise view of what is happening below the surface. 

While this tech has existed in commercial applications for decades, it has just started to make its way into the sportfishing world and is quickly becoming a must-have. The sonar system allows us to spot both groups of bait and game fish at various depths. In addition, we can adjust the tilt angle of the sonar transponder to search our surroundings, providing incredible insight. We're sure that Omni Sonar systems will become commonplace on many sportfishing boats, especially those active in tournaments and competitions. 

While the investment in these systems quickly pushes past the six-figure mark, we see this as a necessary improvement to our fleet. We pride ourselves in providing the best charter fishing experience that Costa Rica has to offer - which extends well past our boats' "comfort" features. We take a holistic approach, ensuring that every aspect is top-notch. While Super Fly might be the first in the Maverick Costa Rica fleet to receive this upgrade, we are just getting started. In the next few years, you should expect to find this on every charter boat we have!
