I come from the charming coastal town of Golfito, which is rich in natural beauty and surrounded by the tranquil allure of the ocean.

As the First Sailor in the company, what do you find most fulfilling about your role?

What truly resonates with me in my role as a First Sailor is the opportunity to connect with a diverse array of individuals each day that I set out to sea. The chance to interact with people and share in their joy as they experience the open waters is immensely rewarding.

What challenges have you encountered in your work, and how have you worked to overcome them?

Every day I strive to enhance my skills, refining myself constantly in this demanding profession. Challenges come and go, but the drive to continuously improve pushes me to overcome obstacles and elevate my abilities.

In your opinion, what stands as the most crucial skill for a successful professional in your field?

The cornerstone of success in my field lies in the virtues of solidarity and friendship. These qualities foster a harmonious environment where teamwork thrives and each charter fishing experience becomes a collective endeavor.

Beyond your role, what do you find yourself engaged in during your leisure time?

Outside of my maritime duties, I treasure moments spent with my family. The bond we share is a source of joy and strength that fuels me both on and off the water.

It's intriguing to learn about your hobby of hard enduro. Could you elaborate on this exciting interest?

Hard enduro is my exhilarating pursuit during leisure hours. It entails navigating rugged terrains on powerful motorcycles, a thrilling challenge that complements the adventure I experience out at sea.

Could you share a dream you aspire to achieve one day?

My aspiration is to ascend to the position of a distinguished captain, a dream that fuels my determination and propels me forward.

When did you first discover your passion for this line of work?

The seed of my passion was sown during my inaugural fishing expedition. Since that transformative moment, the allure of the ocean and its bounty has guided my journey.

One cherished memory is the camaraderie we share during our meetings, where colleagues come together to exchange experiences and insights, fostering a sense of unity that resonates deeply.

As the Captain, could you tell us what aspect of your role you find most fulfilling?

Being the Captain allows me to play a pivotal role within this exceptional team. What I treasure the most is the opportunity to contribute to this collective effort and be part of something truly remarkable.

In your journey, what are some of the challenges you've encountered within your role?

Working under pressure is a significant challenge that I've confronted. However, it is within these moments that I've grown and honed my skills to ensure a smooth voyage for all aboard.

What, in your perspective, stands as the most vital skill for a successful professional in your field?

The ability to effectively interact with guests is undeniably pivotal. Providing a memorable experience hinges on understanding and meeting their expectations.
